Filed under: Music, History, Society — rachel @ 14:25

  1. “It is unfortunate that we Jews, among ourselves, do not value group singing. Among the Baltic peoples, especially the Estonians, their entire national movement sprang from group singing. This is a mighty and invaluable tool in order to develop cooperation and discipline and also that social aesthetic quality, which, when the day comes when Brit Trumpeldor will be that which it should be, the Jewish world will call (I hope) by the name Hadar Betari.”
